Trainee Life Insurance (Leeds)

Core Cover Ltd trading as Lifecover.com provides advice to customers who are looking to arrange life insurance, critical illness insurance, or income protection insurance.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented sales individual who wants to develop their career working in a fast-paced environment.

The role will be based in Leeds however the interviews will take place in Doncaster.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • To provide high quality telephone-based advice to customers.
  • To work closely with the team to share knowledge and ideas.
  • To keep your Continuous Professional Development up to date on products and procedure making sure customers are always receiving the best possible advice.
  • To achieve set targets.

The Person:

The successful candidate will be:

  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Customer focused, results orientated and always positive.
  • Self-motivated with the drive and desire to achieve.
  • Able to demonstrate previous sales performance success.
  • Organised and IT literate.

Training and development

  • If not qualified a minimum of 1 years’ telephone-based sales experience and the willingness to undertake a qualification.
  • A self-starter who understands that continuous development leads to better performance.

Experience:

The minimum experience you must have to be considered for the role is:

Telesales: 1 year (essential)

Salary and Benefits

  • Basic salary of £18-20K
  • A competitive bonus package that will allow you to achieve OTE of £30,000+

We are looking for a confident, passionate, dynamic PMI and Life Insurance Adviser to join our dynamic company.

The Role

The purpose of this role is to guide clients through their Private Medical and Life Insurance needs and requirements. To provide sound and knowledgeable advice and key support by responding to all correspondence in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

· Demonstrate effective questioning techniques to collect and analyse the customer’s needs and requirements.

· Using your friendly and confident phone manner to identify products that meets the customer’s needs by comparing quotations from our panel of providers to form a recommendation

· Present your conclusion to the client and convert the opportunity into a sale

· Dialling warm leads that we’ve previously had contact with.

· Inputting client information into the CRM system

· Acting in accordance with FCA guidelines and ethics

The Candidate

· Previous Private Medical Insurance or Life Insurance experience (Essential)

· Certificate in Insurance (Desirable not Essential)

· Industry knowledge regarding competitor insurers and products (Desirable not Essential)

· Excellent communication skills

· An exceptional telephone manner

· Organisation skills and ability to prioritise

· The ability to be professional and empathic

· Flexible approach, excellent ability to work in a team

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced customer service administrator to support the maximising of sales from existing customers, whilst aiding conversion of enquiries into orders.

Key responsibilities of the role:
To support the maximising of sales from existing customers, whilst aiding conversion of enquiries into orders.
• Dealing with sales enquiries by telephone and email.

• Sending documentation to customers.

• Providing excellent customer service • Liaise with sales team regarding progress of orders.

• Maintaining and updating customers’ records accurately and in accordance with data protection requirements and ensuring systems are kept up to date.

• Liaison with all other business areas to ensure meet customer requirements.

• Building effective relationships with customers both internally and externally.


The successful candidate will be:
• Experience in a customer service role.

• 12 months experience in a busy sales office.

• Extensive telephone skills and experience in a busy customer service environment.

• Excellent communication skills and demonstrate ability to communicate with people face to face, on the telephone, and via written communication.

• PC literate with good working knowledge of the Microsoft Word and Excel, and sales processing software.

• Friendly and polite with a positive attitude.
